This award-winning documentary portrays the life of two activists who led the largest social movement in recent Taiwanese history.
The film follows the Sunflower student movement leaders who took over Congress for eighteen days in 2014 after the KMT party passed trade agreements without close review. Director Fu captures the shifting mood of the protest from anger and hope to resignation and despair. A must-see for all interested in the rise of mass social movements in East Asia.
