Ren-jie stands in front of the painting, sixteen years, the once naïve, passionate dreamer, is now a middle-aged man defeated by poverty and the cruelty of life. With sorrow and regret, he closes his eyes, and smiled.

This is a love story of a young couple that journeyed through 16 years of life, to find their hopes and dreams shattered by the challenges and inequality of society, and as the bubble pops, so ends the last verse of their tragic story.
