The retrospective 'Taiwanese bad cinema' will take place at the French cinematheque from April 17 to May 2. This series of 13 film screenings from the 1960s to the 1980s is organized by Taiwan Film Institute, the Cultural Center of Taiwan in Paris and the Cinémathèque Française. Two films are being released for the first time after the Taiwan Film Institute restores: 'Typhoon' by Pan Lei, the father of the Taiwanese art film, and 'The Bride Who Returned From Hell' by Hsin Chi. During the retrospective, curator Wafa Ghermani and filmmaker Corrado Neri are invited for two conferences.
